The Olive Theory: Determining the success or potential success of a relationship by whether one person in the relationship loves olives while the other person hates them.
Paul and Haylie’s first date was at picnic table in the middle of a field somewhere in Illinois, sometime in 2001, where three things were immediately determined:
I. Paul hates Olives
II. Haylie loves olives.
III. These two will work out.
